Abstract：
Orthogonal polynomials arise in many areas of mathematics, including differential equations, probability theory, and numerical analysis. In this talk, I will present several methods for constructing orthogonal polynomials, and illustrate their rich connections with combinatorial structures, including lattice paths and continued fractions.
