Abstract:
Branching processes are classical Markov processes proposed in the 19th century. In this talk I propose a new method to analyze continuous-time and continuous-state branching processes using a modern theory of holomorphic ODE called Loewner theory. This talk is based on a joint work with Pavel Gumenyuk and Jose Luis Perez.
