Abstract:
We will introduce holomorphic vector bundles, Hermitian metrics, Finsler metrics, and their curvatures. Some basic properties will be given and proved. Then we will discuss progress towards the conjectures of Griffiths and Kobayashi, especially on the tensor product of positive bundles. Some open problems will be mentioned along the way.
