Abstract:
A Lie superalgebra g is a generalization of a Lie algebra to include a Z₂-grading g=g₀⊕ g₁. In this talk, we explain the connection between simple supermodules over g and simple modules over the underlying Lie algebra g₀. In particular, the classification of simple supermodules over Lie superalgebras can be reduced to the classification of simple modules over the underlying Lie algebra. This talk is based on several joint works with Kevin Coulembier and Volodymyr Mazorchuk.
