Abstract:

In this talk, I will present some recent progress on the spatial behavior for the Boltzmann equation. We will begin with the introduction of the Boltzmann equation and its connection with fluid dynamics. Then the research for the whole space problem and the half space problem will be discussed. This is a joint work with Kazuo Aoki, Yu-Chu Lin and Haitao Wang.
