Abstract The Ihara zeta function is a function defined on a finite graph, which counts the number of closed geodesic walks. It is not only an analog of local zeta functions of varieties but it is also a p-adic version of Selberg zeta function. In this talk, we will introduce several different aspects of the Ihara zeta function.
