Seminar in Applied Math-An algorithm for computing line and surface integrals from point cloud data
Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss an algorithm which computes line integrals and surface integrals defined on given point clouds in 3D. The algorithm works directly with the point cloud and inferred connectivity implicitly from the derivatives of the closest points mapping to the point cloud. We shall lso discuss limitation and generalisation of this approach.
