演講-The law of large numbers for extended negatively dependent random variables
Abstract:
One of the basic aims of probability theory and mathematical statistics is to build
stochastic models which explain the phenomenon under investigation and explore
the dependence structure of this phenomenon. The extended negatively dependent
structure is a concept of dependence structure. In this talk, I will introduce the
fundamental probability properties of extended negatively dependent random
variables and present a series of inequalities for extended negatively dependent
random variables. Then, I will discuss the assumption of the validity for the law of
large numbers. In some case that classical assumptions are necessary and sufficient
conditions for the strong law of large numbers.
