學術演講-Equilibrating Effects of Boundary and Collision in Rarefied Gases
Abstract:
In the kinetic theory of gas, there are two equilibrating mechanisms: the intermolecular collisions and the thermal interaction with the boundary. In this talk, I will introduce the equilibrating effect of diffuse reflection boundary condition with variable boundary temperature.
First, the optimal convergence rate to the steady state of free molecular flow will be introduced. Next, we will talk about the time-asymptotic behavior for the Boltzmann equation.
