On L^{p-star}-differentiability of Sobolev Functions
Abstract:
A basic result in the theory of the Sobolev spaces is the
L^p-differentiability of Sobolev functions - essentially a consequence
of the Lebesgue differentiation theorem. Less known is the use of the
Sobolev embedding theorem to improve this result to so-called
L^{p-star}-differentiability. In this talk I will discuss a recent
result on characterizing Sobolev spaces that turns out to be related
to this result, which was quite surprising for us. This talk is
