Applied Mathematics and Analysis Research at the University of the Philippines Diliman
Abstract: Research in the field of analysis at our Institute began in the late 70's and for many years was focused on functional analysis, integration theory, and operator theory. The last ten years has seen a growth in our research which has expanded to various fields like approximation theory, optimization, partial differential equations, dynamical systems, and applied mathematics. In this talk, I shall discuss past and ongoing researches at our Institute in analysis and applied mathematics.
