Turbulent Flame Speeds in Level Set Combustion Models
Abstract: Turbulent combustion is a nonlinear multiscale dynamical process. By level set formulation, G-equations
are popular models that describe the motion of the thin flame front by both advection term and chemistry term. As the fundamental issue in combustion theory, we aim to study the asymptotic flame propagation speed modeled by G-equations. Few approaches will be introduced, including
control theory, homogenization theory and numerical method.
