SPECTRAL MODELLING OF OPTICS IN SURFACE ENHANCED RAMAN SCATTERING SUBSTRATES
Abstract: In this talk we will present a high-order accurate
computational framework based on multidomain spectral/pseudospectral methodology for simulating optics induced by light-matter interaction. A short introduction on the optics in surface enhanced Raman scattering substrates will be introduced first. Followed by the introduction is a general description of the physic laws, numerical methods, and high-performance computational approaches, involved in the simulation framework. Validations of the computational framework will be illustrated. We will also explain the physical meaning of the simulation results of optics in surface enhanced Raman scattering
substrates. At last, an ongoing research work on incorporating non-local
optic responses of metallic into the present computational framework will be discussed.
