Abstract:
Nonlinear dynamics depict nature phenomena. Applied math applies
mathematics to solve application problems. While dynamical system is a
discipline in mathematics, the current research interests in its
counterpart: nonlinear dynamics in physics, and other areas which are
concerned with nonlinear phenomena, may be inviting more involvement from
mathematics (or maybe not). There are conventional or classical
methodologies for studying nonlinear dynamics, which have been largely
employed in physics, and engineering research. We shall discuss whether
some of these methodologies are accessible or effective when applied to
certain application problems.
