Oct 7, 13:10-15:00 We introduce energy method for wave equation, and uniqueness. We illustrate the use of fundamental solution of wave equation, the linear superposition principle. Next we move on the Laplace and Poisson equation. Introduced the Green's function, and explaied the meaning of delta function as an example of tempered distribution. Then we dereived the Green's function on the whole space, the half space, and on a ball.
