Prerequisite: 高等微積分一 (MATH 2030 或 2010)
Textbook: W.R.Wade: An Introduction to Analysis, 3rd edition, 2004

Reference: W.Rudin: Principles of Mathematical Analysis, 3rd edition, 1976

Course Description: We will cover the following topics: 1. Differentiation on Rn; 2. Integration on Rn; 3. Fundamental Theorems of Vector Calculus.
Attendance: Students are expected to attend every scheduled class. It is the student's responsibility to keep informed of any announcements, syllabus adjustments or policy changes made during scheduled classes.

Grading

Quizzes (100 points): Homework will be assigned regularly, and discussed during weekly problem sessions. Quizzes will be based on homework assignments and taken place during problem sessions. Contact your teaching assistants for the dates of quizzes and further details.

Midterm Exams (200 points):

Midterm Exam 1 (100 points):

Friday, April 7  (8:00 ~ 9:50am)

Midterm Exam 2 (100 points):

Friday, May 19  (8:00 ~ 9:50am)

Final Exam (200 points):

Final exam will be on Friday, June 16  from 7:30 ~ 9:50am.

Grade: Course grade = (Quizzes+Midterms+Final)/5.

Absence from exams:

You should miss an exam only for the most compelling reasons and you should obtain permission in advance (except in some extraordinary circumstances). If you miss an exam for legitimate reasons, then it will be weighted to the final exam.
