Prerequisite: 高等微積分一 (MATH 201)
Textbook: J.Marsden; M.Hoffman: Elementary Classical Analysis, 2^nd edition, 1993.

Reference: W.Rudin: Principles of Mathematical Analysis, 3^rd edition, 1976.

Course Description: We will continue the course Advanced calculus (I) and cover the following topics: 1. Differentiation on Rⁿ, 2. Integration on Rⁿ, 3. Fundamental Theorems of Vector Calculus.
Attendance: Students are expected to attend every scheduled class. It is the student's responsibility to keep informed of any announcements, syllabus adjustments or policy changes made during scheduled classes.

Grading

Quizzes (20%): Homework will be assigned regularly, and discussed during weekly problem sessions on Monday nights. Quizzes will be based on homework assignments and taken place during problem sessions. Contact your teaching assistantss for the dates of quizzes and further details.

Midterm Exams (40%):

Midterm Exam 1 (20%)	Friday, April 10
Midterm Exam 2 (20%)	Friday, May 22

Final Exam (40%):

Final exam will be on Tuesday, June 23 from 8-10am.

Absence from exams:

You should miss an exam only for the most compelling reasons and you should obtain permission in advance (except in some extraordinary circumstances). If you miss an exam for legitimate reasons, then it will be weighted to the final exam.
