Prerequisite: 微積分一, 二 (MATH 101, 102)
Textbook: J.Marsden; M.Hoffman: Elementary Classical Analysis, 2^nd edition, 1993.

Reference: W.Rudin: Principles of Mathematical Analysis, 3^rd edition, 1976.

Course Description: We will cover the following topics: 1. Euclidean spaces; 2. Sequence and series; 3. Topology of Euclidean spaces; 4. Continuous functions; 5. Uniform convergence.
Attendance: Students are expected to attend every scheduled class. It is the student's responsibility to keep informed of any announcements, syllabus adjustments or policy changes made during scheduled classes.

Grading

Quizzes (20%): Homework will be assigned regularly, and discussed during weekly problem sessions. Quizzes will be based on homework assignments and taken place during problem sessions. Contact your teaching assistantss for the dates of quizzes and further details.

Midterm Exams (40%):

Midterm Exam 1 (20%)	Tuesday, November 4
Midterm Exam 2 (20%)	Friday, December 12

Final Exam (40%):

Final exam will be on Tuesday, January 13 from 8-10am.

Absence from exams:

You should miss an exam only for the most compelling reasons and you should obtain permission in advance (except in some extraordinary circumstances). If you miss an exam for legitimate reasons, then it will be weighted to the final exam.
